Global. That is the origin of this tea blend. Lemongrass. There is the most of it in our "Tea tox". Where it originally came from is not entirely clear. Today it is grown in India, Sri Lanka, Africa, China and England. And also in Egypt and Paraguay. That is where our lemongrass comes from. It grows best in a warm, humid climate. Lots of sun and sandy soil. That is where lemongrass feels at home. Rooibos from the Cedar Mountains in South Africa is also part of the mix. It is very demanding. Hot and dry in summer. Cold and wet in winter. Sandy soil. It is only happy with the climate in the Cedar Mountains. Peppermint also ends up in your cup. It is grown in all temperate regions of Europe and Asia. Lots of lime and lots of nitrogen salts. Sun to partial shade. That is where it feels at home. We get our peppermint for the "Tea tox" mainly from Egypt, Bulgaria, the USA and Austria. And two other green guys join us: mate and green tea. The evergreen mate bush grows mainly in Brazil and Argentina - whether wild or cultivated. The green tea comes mainly from India, Sri Lanka and China - depending on the quality of the harvest. Birch leaves from Bosnia, Romania and Albania crown the beneficial mixture.
