Global. That's the origin of this tea blend. Lemongrass. This is the most abundant ingredient in our "Teetox." Its exact origin is not entirely clear. Today, it is cultivated in India, Sri Lanka, Africa, China, and England. Also in Egypt and Paraguay. That's where our lemongrass comes from. It thrives best in a warm, humid climate. Plenty of sunshine and sandy soil. That's when lemongrass feels good. Rooibos from South Africa's Cederberg Mountains is also part of the mix. It is very demanding. Hot and dry in summer. Cold and damp in winter. Sandy soil. Only in the Cederberg Mountains is it satisfied with the climate. Peppermint also ends up in your cup. It is cultivated in all temperate regions of Europe and Asia. Lots of lime and many nitrogen salts. Sun to partial shade. That's when it feels good. We source our peppermint for "Teetox" mainly from Egypt, Bulgaria, the USA, and Austria. And two more green fellows join in: Mate and green tea. The evergreen mate bush grows mainly in Brazil, Argentina – whether wild or cultivated. The green tea comes predominantly from India, Sri Lanka, and China – depending on the quality of the harvest. Birch leaves from Bosnia, Romania, and Albania crown this beneficial blend.
