Fits your Nespresso®³ Original machine
All capsules in this category are made for Nespresso®³ Original systems, i.e., for machines with the cone-shaped capsule: Essenza, Pixie, CitiZ, Inissia, Lattissima, and comparable models. You do not need any adapters or modifications. The aluminum-free capsule is just as easy to insert as an original capsule, and the closing mechanism, water flow, and piercing function exactly as before. Nothing stands in the way of your coffee.
There are two exceptions you should know about. Our capsules do not fit Vertuo machines, as they use a different capsule format. They are also not suitable for the Nespresso®³ Professional system. If your machine is in the list above, you are in the right place.
Which variety suits you best?
Short and strong? Then start with our espresso varieties. For a larger cup, try our lungo capsules, which offer a milder roast and more volume. If you enjoy flavored coffee, our Aroma Collection has everything from vanilla to gingerbread, and fruity notes to bold roasts. And if you don't want to miss out in the evening: our decaf, decaffeinated without chemicals.

Why without aluminum
An aluminum capsule must be collected, transported, and melted down before it can become something else again. In this process, around 75 percent of a used capsule is coffee grounds anyway, which must be laboriously separated beforehand. Our capsules are made primarily of renewable raw materials and are compostable¹. They do not belong in the recycling cycle, but back in the natural one. This doesn't change anything about the coffee in your cup, but it changes quite a lot about what is left behind afterwards.
Eco-friendly coffee enjoyment
Enjoyment should not come at the expense of nature, the climate, or other people. We ensure this by focusing on two things:
- the highest quality in all raw materials, certified organic and using exclusively natural flavors
- less aluminum waste through compostable¹ capsules, which consist primarily of bio-based raw materials
In a home compost, the capsule decomposes in a maximum of 24 weeks¹. Even so, it does not automatically belong in the organic waste bin: many municipalities exclude compostable packaging.
