A coffee that is very close to our hearts. Over the last year, My Coffee Cup has noticed that the quality of Rwanda coffee is setting a new standard in East Africa. When our green coffee supplier told us about an organic farm available, we were excited to hear that the farm is run by women.
The project “The Women's Coffee Extension” provides new economic opportunities and social change to the women farmers. Many of the women who participate in the project are widows or orphans of the 1994 genocide and had to support their families alone.
By purchasing this coffee you support the women involved in the project and with your help we can continue to purchase larger quantities of their products and finance their social development.
