And this is how they run their plantations. The evergreen tea plant, the Camellia sinensis, thrives in the mountainous tea regions. This is why China is the world's largest tea producer. The plants that are processed into our jasmine green tea grow on smaller farms. Early in the morning. When the jasmine flowers are still closed. Then they are picked and placed with the tea leaves. When they open, they envelop the tea leaves with their fine scent. Completely natural. They absorb it without any chemicals. This is how a Chinese delicacy ends up in your cup.
